Ticketing and platform terms

Terms and Conditions

The rules that apply to QH Tix purchases, payment processing, ticket delivery, refunds, event changes and admission.

Last updated: 6 August 2026

These Terms and Conditions govern use of QH Tix, the official ticketing platform of Queen’s Hall, including event discovery, online and Box Office-related ticketing, customer accounts, payment processing, ticket delivery and event admission.

All completed ticket purchases are final. Purchase carefully and verify the event, performance, date, time, ticket type, seat, quantity and contact information before submitting payment.

1. Acceptance of these Terms

By browsing QH Tix, creating an account, joining a mailing list, placing an order, receiving or using a ticket, or entering an event using a QH Tix ticket, you agree to these Terms, the Privacy Policy, the event-specific terms displayed at purchase, Queen’s Hall venue rules and any lawful organiser or payment-processor conditions that apply.

Do not use the platform or complete a purchase if you do not agree.

2. QH Tix, Queen’s Hall, Sun Tixx and event organisers

QH Tix is Queen’s Hall’s official ticketing platform. Queen’s Hall operates the venue and Box Office services described for the relevant event. Sun Tixx provides ticketing technology, payment processing, transaction routing, ticket delivery, access-control support, reporting and related event-commerce services.

The promoter, producer or event organiser remains responsible for the production, programme, performers, pricing instructions, ticket categories, capacity, event-specific restrictions, cancellation or postponement decisions, refund authorisations and the event experience, except where Queen’s Hall expressly assumes a particular responsibility.

Sun Tixx is not the event organiser, performer or producer unless expressly identified as such.

3. Eligibility and accounts

You must provide accurate information and be legally able to enter into the purchase. Customers under 18 should use the service with a parent or legal guardian. You are responsible for account credentials, email access and activity under your account. QH Tix may suspend access where fraud, misuse, account takeover, abusive disputes or security risks are suspected.

4. Event information

QH Tix aims to display accurate event titles, dates, times, venues, prices, ticket categories, seating and access information. Event details may be supplied by organisers and can change. Verify the final event, performance, date, time, ticket type and seat before paying and review official updates before travelling.

5. Orders, pricing, fees and currency

Your order is an offer to purchase. A ticket is confirmed only when payment or another authorised issuance method is accepted and a valid order and ticket are created. Items placed in a cart or seats selected during browsing are not guaranteed until checkout is completed.

The checkout displays the ticket price, applicable service, processing, delivery, platform, organiser or administrative fees, taxes and the total before payment. Transactions may be processed in TTD, USD or another supported currency. Your bank is responsible for foreign-exchange rates, international-card charges, cash-advance treatment or other issuer fees.

Obvious pricing, inventory or technical errors may be corrected. An affected order may be cancelled, refunded or offered at the correct price where permitted by law.

6. Payment authorisation and processor routing

By paying, you authorise Queen’s Hall, QH Tix, Sun Tixx and their approved processors and acquiring banks to charge the payment method for the displayed total. A transaction may be routed through Stripe, Scotiabank, Scotia eCom+, Fiserv or another approved provider depending on currency, card type, merchant setup, fraud controls and technical availability.

Your statement will ordinarily show a Sun Tixx descriptor such as SUN TIXX, SUNTIXX or SUN TIXX CARIBBEAN LIMITED, possibly shortened by the bank or combined with an event, organiser or Queen’s Hall reference.

Payment may be refused, held, reversed or cancelled where it is declined, unauthorised, suspicious, duplicated, technically erroneous, unlawful or subject to further verification.

7. Payment security

Approved gateways and processing partners handle sensitive card credentials. Queen’s Hall, QH Tix and Sun Tixx do not intend to store full card numbers, PINs or CVV/CVC values on ordinary business systems after authorisation. Limited metadata such as card brand, last four digits, status, authorisation and processor references may be retained for receipts, support, reconciliation, fraud prevention and disputes.

8. Ticket delivery and customer responsibility

Tickets and confirmations are normally delivered to the email address supplied at checkout or made available through an account. You are responsible for providing an accessible email address, checking spam folders, reviewing the order and safeguarding the ticket.

A failure to notice an email does not itself cancel a valid purchase. Contact support promptly if a successful payment does not produce a ticket.

9. Digital, printed and Box Office tickets

A valid digital ticket may be shown on a suitable device, and an authorised printed ticket may be accepted where the event supports it. The complete QR code, ticket number and event details must remain readable. Tickets may also be issued or collected through Queen’s Hall’s Box Office under event-specific procedures.

10. Lost, stolen, damaged, misplaced or duplicated tickets

Report lost, stolen, damaged or compromised tickets immediately. Replacement may require identification, proof of purchase and a replacement or administrative fee. Replacement may be refused where ownership cannot be verified, the ticket has been scanned, fraud is suspected or the event policy does not permit reissue.

Do not publish QR codes or send a ticket to several people. The first valid scan may be admitted and later copies rejected.

11. Ticket transfer, gifting and resale

A ticket may be gifted or transferred only where the event permits it. Unauthorised resale, commercial exploitation, duplication, counterfeiting, sale above permitted limits or transfer contrary to event rules can result in cancellation without refund. QH Tix does not guarantee tickets acquired from unofficial sellers.

12. Assigned seating and general admission

Assigned seats are subject to availability and are confirmed only in the completed order. General-admission tickets do not reserve a particular seat or position. Queen’s Hall or the organiser may make reasonable seating changes for production, safety, accessibility or operational reasons and will provide a comparable arrangement where practicable.

13. Final-sale and no-refund policy

All completed QH Tix ticket purchases are final and non-refundable. Refunds are not provided because a purchaser changes their mind, can no longer attend, arrives late, selected the wrong event, performance, date, time, ticket type, quantity or seat, entered incorrect information, or made another purchasing error.

Tickets are also not normally exchangeable or transferable unless the event terms expressly permit it. Purchasers should review the complete order carefully before submitting payment.

In an extreme or exceptional circumstance, a purchaser may contact the QH Tix Ticket Help Desk for review. A request does not create a right to a refund, exchange, credit or reissue. Any exception is entirely discretionary, may require organiser and Queen’s Hall approval, may be subject to availability or administrative costs, and is valid only when confirmed in writing.

Service, processing, delivery, platform and administrative fees are non-refundable except where the announced cancellation or postponement process expressly includes them or applicable law requires otherwise.

14. Cancelled events

When an event is officially cancelled, refunds become available to eligible purchasers according to the method, deadline and conditions announced by QH Tix, Queen’s Hall or the event organiser. An approved online refund is normally returned to the original payment method. Cash, debit/LINX or other Box Office payments may follow a separate process.

Refund scope may be limited to the eligible ticket amount defined for that event. Travel, accommodation, transport, parking, meals, childcare, lost time and other incidental expenses are not refunded by QH Tix, Queen’s Hall, Sun Tixx or the organiser.

15. Postponed, rescheduled, relocated or changed events

When an event is officially postponed, the original ticket will ordinarily remain valid for the new date and a refund option will become available according to the announced process and response period. Customers who intend to attend the new date should retain their original ticket unless instructed otherwise.

For a rescheduled, relocated or materially changed event, QH Tix, Queen’s Hall or the organiser will communicate whether the ticket remains valid and whether a refund window applies. Performer, programme or production changes that do not amount to an official cancellation, postponement or material change do not automatically create a refund right.

16. Refund processing time

Refund timing depends on authorisation, settlement status, processor, acquiring bank, card network, issuing bank, currency, fraud review and whether a void, reversal or refund is technically available. QH Tix may confirm that a refund was initiated but cannot control the issuing bank’s posting time.

17. Chargebacks and payment disputes

Contact QH Tix or Queen’s Hall before filing a bank dispute. If a valid purchase is disputed, QH Tix, Queen’s Hall, Sun Tixx, the organiser and payment partners may provide order details, ticket delivery records, access and scan logs, IP/device information, communications, refund history and other evidence to the bank or card network.

Tickets linked to a disputed payment may be suspended or cancelled while the matter is investigated. False, abusive or repeated disputes may lead to purchase restrictions and recovery of permitted costs.

18. Fraud, bots and prohibited conduct

You must not use stolen or unauthorised payment methods; evade ticket limits; interfere with seating, payment or access controls; use purchasing bots without written approval; scrape or attack the platform; upload malicious content; impersonate another person; submit false refund claims; or duplicate, counterfeit or unlawfully resell tickets.

Suspicious transactions may be held, cancelled, refunded, reversed or subjected to additional verification.

19. Admission and venue conduct

A ticket is a revocable licence for the stated event, subject to validation, capacity, age limits, identification, security procedures, venue rules and lawful instructions. Queen’s Hall may refuse admission or remove a person for invalid or duplicated tickets, disorderly behaviour, harassment, abusive language, safety concerns, prohibited items or failure to comply with venue rules. Misconduct normally does not qualify for a refund.

20. Accessibility and special requirements

Patrons who need accessible seating, mobility assistance or other reasonable arrangements should contact Queen’s Hall as early as possible. Availability and arrangements depend on the event layout, venue configuration and the information provided.

21. Website availability and third-party services

QH Tix aims to provide reliable service but cannot guarantee uninterrupted operation. Maintenance, internet failure, hosting incidents, payment-gateway downtime, banking outages, email delays, cyber incidents or force majeure may affect service. Third-party links and services are governed by their own terms.

22. Intellectual property

QH Tix, Queen’s Hall and Sun Tixx names, designs, software, content and technology are protected by applicable rights. Event organisers remain responsible for permission to use event artwork, performer names, sponsor marks and promotional materials. Content may not be copied, reverse engineered, resold or commercially exploited without authorisation.

23. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Queen’s Hall, QH Tix and Sun Tixx are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential or special losses, including travel, accommodation, parking, lost opportunity or loss arising from circumstances outside reasonable control. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

The organiser remains responsible for staging and delivering the event and for event-specific representations, subject to Queen’s Hall’s responsibilities as venue and Box Office operator.

24. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago. The parties submit to the jurisdiction of its competent courts, subject to any mandatory consumer rights or dispute process that applies.

25. Changes and severability

These Terms may be updated as services, laws, payment processing and event operations change. The revised date will be posted. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply. Failure to enforce a provision immediately is not a waiver.
